Lost at Pohnpei

It is the dry season here in Pohnpei. A thirst quencher is as good as a drink of coconut straight from the refrigerator by expert hands then sipped through a straw.

Okay, I didn’t prepare my own coconut drink, a relative of my patient prepared it for me.

There is nothing like a thirst quencher in the middle of the day from GPC – good patient care. 

The phrase for today is “uhpw yo!” This means “delicious coconut!”

Uhpw – coconut

Yo – delicious

Maybe next time, I’d be able to prepare my own coconut drink.

“Uhpw yo!”
